A new poll released Wednesday shows that the majority of American’s approved of President Trump’s joint address to Congress.
The data released by CBS News/YouGov shows that 76% of viewers who tuned into the speech approved of the President’s words. Further, 82% of people found it “presidential.”
President Trump’s speech is being explained by many as a blue print for the future of the United States.
Among other things, the President discuss rebuilding US infrastructure, replacing Obamacare and focusing on access to education.
This week at the White House, the President hosted congressional leadership for a legislative affairs strategy session to plan out how he would keep his promise from the joint address.
“We are here to start the process. It begins as of now and we’ll have tremendous success,” President Trump said during the meeting.
Later this week, President Trump will elaborate on his joint address when he speaks aboard the USS Gerald Ford in Newport News, Virginia.
